Why I Am Running

I am running to restore the principles of limited government and personal freedom to the operations of our state and, where possible, ensure the adherence of these principles by our federal government.

I am running to restore our state to prosperity and firmly establish it as an economic leader in our nation. 
I am running to establish Michigan as an example for the rest of our great nation and the world at large as to how these principles of limited government and freedom are essential ingredients for a prosperous citizenry.
I am running to provide leadership that establishes and achieves bold goals.
I am running to provide a consistent voice for saying “No” to new taxes.
I am running to champion the pursuit of efficiency and value when it comes to spending the fruits of our citizens’ labor.
I am running to serve the citizens of this state in gratitude for the rights and blessings which I have been afforded.
I am running because our state needs principled leadership that recognizes the true source of these rights and blessings as professed by our Founding Fathers...Almighty God.
