“Patrick really knows his stuff. It's very rare to find a business owner who not only gets his industry, but also gets business. Patrick really has head wrapped around the key ingredients of business that make companies successful. So when you work with Patrick, you not only get a solution that will help your business, you get a business partner that understands your business needs.” March 7, 2009

“Patrick has to be one of the most talented project managers, and business people I have met. He not only understands process, but the business drivers behind process. He is a very accommodating coworker that has definitive views on his knowledge base, but is willing to listen for the merits of differing viewpoints. My sincere hope is that when this current engagement is done, we have opportunities to work together on future projects. His level of expertise and professionalism determines whether a project fails or succeeds.” August 2, 2007

“Patrick Colbeck was a pleasure to work with. He exudes a high level of integrity and trust with his colleagues and clients which results in strong business relationships and customer satisfaction. I am impressed by Patrick's constant quest to identify root causes to problems and address issues with out-of-the-box ideas that are soundly mapped out in recommendation. Patrick provides collaborative leadership to any organization that he supports and is a great motivator as he builds strong teams that share knowledge and equal reward for successes. I look forward in the future to have an opportunity to work with Patrick Colbeck once again.” March 8, 2007

“I managed a team of engineers in Orlando, FL supporting the program office of a challenging $1B joint simulation system. Over my 23 year career this has been my most challenging technical project. Shortly after Patrick joined the team he received the respect of the senior military staff already on the project and he rapidly became a valuable member of the technical team. His ability to think independently and to understand and the complexities of the project were invaluable. I can Highly Recommend Patrick for support to your projects or as a member of your team!” May 19, 2007

“I have known Pat for 17 years (2008). We were project designers for the Atmosphere Control & Supply (ACS) system and the Gas Condition Assemby (GCA) subsystem for the International Space Station (ISS) program in the early 1990's. Pat and I had worked together for 4 years. At that time, Pat was one of the more exceptional young engineers at the Boeing Company. In addition to his genuine enthusiasm for the space programs, attending the International Space Univeristy, his technical and diverse knowledge of space (domestic/international) was a great asset in the development phase.
Additionally, he displayed a superior level of thoroughness in his analytical work to support the design solution and reviewed others' analyses to ensure accuracy and completeness as well as cross-team coordination. One of Pat's greatest qualities as a leader is his ability to listen to ideas without prejudice and assess constructive recommendations to the work he performs. This was evident early in the GCA when the design team had not considered a potential operational hazard, even though the design specifications had not identified the constraint. Pat quickly analyzed the "new" requirement and took appropriate actions to eliminate the hazard.
Pat is also an excellent speaker and had demonstrated this skill during technical presentations to NASA, Boeing Management, and industry/Academic arenas. My name is Daniel (Dan) Petillo. I am a senior engineer, currently at the Boeing Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have over 21 years of engineering experience, encompassing programs ranging from IR&D to mature. I have held a wide range of positions, covering disciplines as Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Designer, Thermal/Fluids Analyst, and Test Engineer, as well as holding management positions. Academically, I have earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and a certificate in Project Management (PMP).
Throughout my career, I have had the priviledge to work with a variety engineers, and non-engineers, and very few have risen to the level of integrity, honesty, and self-discipline that Pat brings to the job. I believe that any potential employer or enterprise looking to acquire Pat's services would greatly benefit from his contributions. Pat is an exceptional leader, highly organized, high technical capability, and a team player. I strongly recommend Pat for any project/design program.
